How to clean a rope hammock?
I purchased a nice rope hammock last year and used for the summer. I stored it rolled up and just leaning against the wall in the garage for the winter. I pulled it out today and it is moldy looking. I put into the bathtub with soap and bleach but did not whiten up any. Does anyone have any product that can be used on rope to take the moldy, dark look out and the nice white look back?

I think rope hammocks are hard to clean. But when I clean mine I just set it up, and wash it with the water hose.
If the hammock has no metal parts, you can wash it in your machine. Wash in Hot water, along with your regular laundry detergent, but add 1 cup of baking soda and 2 scoops of Oxi Clean™.

After washing, hang the hammock up straight from the washer. I don't recommend machine-drying it.

If the hammock has wooden parts, add towels to the load act as cushions.

You might be able to get away with washing the hammock with this method even if it does have metal parts...but definitely add the towels to the load if the hammock has metal parts.

If the first washing doesn't remove all the mold, repeat the washing.
